Bonifacio has won his arbitration hearing against the Marlins, MLB.com reports.
Hideki Matsui (OF)
Matsui is confident he'll sign with a MLB team before spring training and isn't considering a return to Japan, the Kyodo news service reports. "I haven't heard anything concrete on that. That's probably out of the question," he said.
Yoenis Cespedes (OF)
Cespedes, who is slated to meet with the Marlins on Wednesday, sounds enthusiastic about the prospect of possibility of playing in Miami, the Miami New Times reports. "It would be good [to play here]," Cespedes said. "There are a lot of Cubans and they would support me a lot. Hopefully I can play for the Marlins."
Roy Oswalt (P)
GM Ruben Amaro Jr. downplayed the possibility of Oswalt returning to the Phillies, the team's official site reports.
Elvis Andrus (SS) TEX
Andrus and the Rangers reportedly have a three-year deal in place, pending a physical, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
