Hardy has been traded to the Twins from the Brewers for Carlos Gomez, the Brewers' official web site reports.

Alan Embree (P)  
The Rockies declined to exercise their 2010 option on Embree (leg) on Friday, the Denver Post reports.

Yorvit Torrealba (C)  
The Rockies declined to exercise Torrealba's 2010 option on Friday, the Denver Post reports.

Manny Ramirez (OF)  LA
Ramirez will exercise his $20 million option for 2010 and return to the Dodgers, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.
